IT is early at dusk. View over the airfield of Munda.

Image
Looking at the track at the same time and seeing the instruments is not so easy for both copits of these old aircraft in the MSFS.

Image
The start was a success. You can feel the torque of the engine and the incredible power. The Corsair is an "idiosyncratic aircraft."

Image
High above Munda. early morning...

Image
The view to the right from the cockpit is better than on many other aircraft of this time ...

Image
The thing is a powerhouse

Image
Today we are making an evil face.

Image
The automatic placement of the camera in MSFS does not always make me happy. Here the crooked horizon bothers me. You can also place the cameras manually, but when do you get to fly? On top of that, always make the stupid menu disappear....

Image
Well done with the model of Milviz. The chassis does not extend at the same time as it is with the original.

Image
Somehow not elegantly thrown the thing on the track. Well, first attempt

Image
Warhawks, Lightnings... A lot going on on the small advanced base

Image
There are also a few Corsairs from the US Marines here. (Which is historically correct).

Image
Arrived. Achnell have a coffee, eat something and go to a certain place before it starts.

Meanwhile, the Corsair from Milviz is adapted to the unpleasant 5th update. The slopes chopped out of the jungle by the Seabees and the Japanese can be found here. There are "only" 5 places... but I like it as a photo backdrop.

I like the work of the man, veteran of the German Navy.

Sounds to me that you've not got the hang of the "drone/showcase" camera view yet. That's the one that has all the panning/zooming/rotation functions.

What HOTAS do you have? I have a Saitek X52 Pro and have mapped all my view controls to POV hats. If you happen to have the same stick I could send you my profiles (MSFS and X52).

There's an addon that hides that top menu - so a search on flightsim.to ...
... better still .. here it is: Better toolbar for MSFS :)

Great shots, BTW! I'm too poor to buy this one, but have looked longingly at it, as I had the SA2A version in P3D.

Adam.

Ummm ... only one POV hat, yes? Is there anything like the Saitek "pinkie" switch that allows a 2nd set of commands to be mapped to the same POV hat?

Either way - there are MSFS keyboard equivalents for panning/rotating/zooming the showcase camera ... BUT ... if you do end up having to use the keyboard, you may have to pause the sime first ... and then manipulate the view.
