You don't see a P-51D in olive green and neutral gray camouflage every day either. The USAAF abolished camouflage in September 1944 in favor of better visibility of its own people...

they did, but the 357th, in anticipation of a move to forward airfields on the continent, continued applying camouflage to their aircraft up to Decemeber 1944, sometimes painting just the upper surfaces, sometimes the entire aircraft. The top color was in general not olive drab, but something like RAF Green or anything they could get their hands on
