First flight in the Staggerwing

I had this for Prepar3d, and it was always a favourite, so it is now my first payware aircraft purchase in MSFS (I do own the H145 but that was a gift). Having some previous experience helped, as I didn't get any of the surprises you'd initially get with this particular aircraft. All I can say is that flying an aircraft I know quite well out of an airport I know well is a very satisfying experience.
And all the external views are pretty much the same as P3D, except that I don't use them much in MSFS because of the drone camera.

Taieri is like that in the corners but the grass is never that unkept for the most part. It really should be trimmed

Yeah, the grass is certainly a thing, although it was improved a few MSFS updates ago. As the length of the grass is controlled by the colour of the aerial image there isn't really any control short of removing the colour. Some developers remove the 3D grass entirely and just rely on the imagery, but I much prefer the 3D look, even if it is a bit post-apocalyptic.

Wow, looks like the Staggerwing is a must have to add to the hangar! Thanks for posting, great shots!

As a side note, I don't suppose you've made any headway with having NZTI available through Marketplace? Or do we give up all hope?

It has just gone a year since I applied, so I've maybe given up hope.
