Pacific Aerospace PAC P-750 XSTOL
A nice evening flight in Papua New Guinea. It was a first flight with the TDL Garmin 750, which can be operated very intuitively. To take advantage of the opportunities to recommend, read the f... manual. What this part probably can't do yet is provide a weather report and display the result, and the airport maps are only available from the USA. Well, not nice, but understandable. I learned how far I am "behind the moon" myself when I started looking for where to set the navigation and radio frequencies. That's really cool in that thing. In addition to the PAC 750, I've equipped the Just Flight Pipers, which I use very often, and now I'll take my time to see where else it fits. It's definitely in the manual. I should read them occasionally... To the plane. I know that opinion on this machine seems to be divided here in the forum and that the previous models like the Cresco have a better reputation. Due to the somewhat idiosyncratic trimming, the thing quickly got the nickname "coati" from me, but if the sound were better, it would belong to the top class for me. So there is still hope in relation to this, because ORBX has a good reputation.
Installing the Garmin 750 solved my problems with the autopilot. Everything makes a good impression. Somehow I'm starting to like the box.

Nice set... when I saw the thread title I thought you'd gotten hold of World Update 13, covering Oceania!
Just a week away now.

Yes, the update, let's see what's in store for us. I'm digging around on my hard drives to make room. I'm looking forward to the ATR, which I know. 20 years ago I flew it as passenger from Berlin to Prague in order to get to Odessa from there. That's so long ago.
