Some deep background for the truk aficionados. One source said the 330 had also been known as the Irish Concord. That's a bit harsh.

The 360 is still possible, the edgy thing with double ladders, the 330 Sherpa was even flashier.

Today while driving I heard an interview on the radio, with a journalist who worked in Argentina in the 1970's.
This was a pretty dark period in that country's history: many thousands of people "disappeared" and were never heard of again.
How is this relevant to this flightsim thread?
Well, a favoured procedure saw the Goons kidnap their victims, drug them and load them on a military Skyvan.
Stripped naked, they were then thrown - alive - off the ramp somewhere over the South Atlantic.

The screenshots above popped into my head I'm sorry to say, and that's why it came back here.
Hardly appropriate I know, but you don't see many Skyvans elsewhere...

Hearing the guy tell his story of his close involvement with eight women and four men so treated, was a profoundly moving experience.
He wrote about it, and the subsequent amazing tale of justice that followed, albeit so many years later.

Hard to believe this stuff happens, and is still happening.
