That's a good backdrop...
Marty I can't recall EVER seeing a Starfighter with naked wingtips!

I believe the F-104C model was the first and ,I think the only Starfighter fitted with an re-fueling probe. The USAF used the C model in Vietnam.
They look good in SEA camouflage.
I agree with Charl...an F-104 with nothing on the wingtips looks decidedly odd.
