In 1986, when I was in Vietnam, the last captured A 37s were retired due to a lack of spare parts. It should be said that there were no longer any aircraft that were no longer airworthy but could be used as spare parts donors.

There is a lot to see in aviation and military museums in former Warsaw Pact countries, although they are often in deplorable condition.
I hope you'll forgive me for interjecting. In 1986 the war in Vietnam was still very much alive there and is now almost forgotten. They were different times back then. So I hope this is of interest to you.
The models that I see flying are not just technical monuments, but a part of history. In this part also my own.
