You found my weakness...jets are nice, but turboprop transports are beautiful.
Amazing shots and the bare metal finish really enhances the aircraft.
The head on shot is my pick. The cockpit glazing is almost C-130ish.

Yes there are only so many ways you can solve certain design issues... I always thought of this one as Fokker Man's C-130.
Lockheed did pitch the German govt at the time but domestic job creation won the day I suspect.
I think there is possibly a Turkish paint to be done, being the only one still in use?

A sad thing that we don’t have the Transall anymore! Their pilots developed a quite spectacular approach during the Bosnia war - therefore named Sarajewo Approach.
