That scheme really suits Concorde...especially the flag on the fin.

Thanks for looking. As beautiful as the old lady is, she's not easy to fly. But...thanks to the AI Copilot (whom I just discovered) life is much easier. It, he, she, they don't say much, but seems to understand the drill.
More training required on my part, I think. The more I drill down into AFS4, the more impressed I am.....a lot of work has gone into this sim.

I'm not sure, but I believe that G-BOAC was the flagship of the BA Concorde fleet.

I know what you mean, Marty. There are very good tutorials on how to pre-plan a flight on the FMC and just push the go button then look in now and again to see 'what's it doing now?' That's how flying is done these days. Fortunately, AFS4 has enough scenery and so on for me to do what I used to do in FSX - fly VFR pilotage from GB to AU - but as yet there is no Connie or DC4/6/7 :(
I'll probly have to make one meself !

Thanks for the reply Mike. I agree, the tutorials are well done.
I got a bit confused with a couple as I was reading the mobile version...didn't know you could fly it on your phone.
This morning before work I (actually the Copilot) took Concorde on a simple AKL to CHC flight, which was interesting.
The waypoints looked ok, I reduced the cruise height down to 30,000 from its preferred 53,000 , arranged the weather etc and let the AI thing loose.

Start point was on the selected runway in AKL, destination runway was auto selected. Take off seemed ok, nice right-hand turn and clean up .... but a little steep IMO.
Not sure what the fuel burn was ...or total on board for that matter...my bad again, but AI guy kept it in full reheat all the way to FL300...which didn't really take long, not sure if that is standard practice on this aircraft.
Heading south was all good, but we never got to Mach one or beyond.... maybe a parameter I missed in planning.
TOD was just abeam, or slightly south of Kaikoura, and it started the descent...but checking the next waypoint, I noticed it had us at 1100 feet.... way before the threshold...I let it run.
Anyway...............we ended up scattered across a hillside just north of Rangiora.

This is in no way a criticism of the sim, more than likely ..."finger trouble "on my part.
