SC Designs Northrop F 5E "Tiger II"

This is my latest addition to the hangar. It's flying like in old times again, watch shop with a panic button and no frills, it wants to be landed with a light hand and the effect of the ailerons is exaggerated in my opinion. Nice on the outside, but not spectacular, doesn't eat small computers for breakfast. The price is okay in my opinion. But it didn't exactly start off promisingly. I flew out of Boca Chica Naval Air Station next to Key West, encountered bad weather and the bird iced up. At 26,000 ft the current stopped. With three full additional tanks in the clouds, you couldn't get out of there.

The F-5 is such neat looking aircraft and the Sun Downers marking on the rudder really suits it.

Very nice indeed, I've got one in War thunder and one in DCS, must drag them out for a fly.

It's a nice plane. Looks like a Cadillac. "Looks good, but the steering is a bit spongy." The aileron is a bit too light for my taste. Something completely different than their F-4. This applies (as with the original). "Give me enough power, I'll fly a loop with a brick."
