That could have been before 2019. In the meantime, the police in Mexico have been "reformed", although much has changed in terms of conditions. The flight leaves "Tulum International Airport" (MMTU) and goes to Chichen Itza International Airport (MMCT). Yucatán, Mexico. It serves air traffic for the archaeological site of Chichen Itza. The machine is a Mil Mi 17, a slightly modified Mi 8 with English lettering in the cockpit and an APU that was not available in the original. This variant sold well, including to the USA, which was looking for an easy-to-operate and inexpensive helicopter for its relief troops in Afghanistan. The remaining copies are in Ukraine today. The model comes from Mr. Diehl (beekay), a former officer in the German Navy. The competing model from CERA is also on my purchase list. This one sometimes has a “disc effect” on the rotors that I don’t like.

Interesting subject , great post, but as you say...the rotor textures are a bit strange.
Interesting back ground information as well.
