The Sopwith "Triplane" was often copied. This was probably one of the most famous, the Fokker triplane. Actually, she only came to the front when the short period of success of these "flying bookshelves" was already over.
They could only do two things quite well: flying turns and climbing. The rest was rather suboptimal. Nevertheless, these machines have earned a footnote in history, with Baron v. Richthofen plays a role.
This thing is a copy and in Europe such machines appear every now and then at air shows. In Germany this is no longer an issue. The painting of the machine is based on Rudolf Berthold's machine.

Yes. The aircraft fleet is constantly growing, although I have to admit that helicopters and fighter jets have now overtaken airliners. The CRJ from Aerosoft have not yet been used. I have the complete package here, but don't feel like flying them. Then there are the ATR 42 and 72-600, the Airbus A 310... and I don't have any interest in these FMC handles-knocking mills. I'm currently thinking about the Fokker 28 Fellowship, which is in the Easter sale at Justflight. I still know them because KLM used them to fly via Berlin Schönefeld to Zurich during the time of the Iron Curtain. Later they probably also flew to Kiev and Odessa, airports that I both remember from before 2005.But the appetite also goes in a completely different direction. This applies to Sturmovik Great Battles. My collection of World War II aircraft is not yet complete. The Romanian IAR 80 fighter-bomber is missing. I can already hear my poor piggy bank roaring. But first I should pay my income tax.
