Sim is IL-2 Flying Circus 2. Interesting to note 1C games are moving some of their beautiful "Rise of Flight" models into Flying Circus 3 after a bit of work.

I believe Tommy Sopwith designed the Camel tri plane as an answer to the Dr.1.
The Germans certainly had some colorful schemes for the Dreidekker.
