Lovely shots! The TEAL/Pacific Wave liveries have always been my favourite liveries. Blue and green are what NZ is all about ... I hate those black/all black liveries with a vengeance!

Agreed - PW is the one that really worked.
Marty that second shot is the one every airport spotter would love to photograph but never can get, very nice indeed.

That's the most attractive livery Air New Zealand ever had.
The latest scheme with black and white almost gives the airline a negative look.

yep PW is a classic for sure .. but I have to say I'm warming to the black/white/fern thing

I agree with the dislike of the all black scheme...bloody awful.
Black and white is a little more palatable.(deeknow)

The All Black livery aircraft are a nightmare for the engineering staff. Trying to located lightning strike entry and exit points (of which there can be many) is very time consuming. Also some of the gate guidance systems have an issue locking onto the black nose cone. The problem has lessened somewhat since they repainted the nose cones with a different paint, but there is still the odd guidance system that won’t work and requires a marshaller.
