All part of an awful cluster f**k approach into Gatwick early this morning......everything went wrong...too high, too fast...jammed flaps.
I had 10 miles to get it all sorted...but I needed 4 arms and another 40 miles. I don't why I torture myself, just wanted to get some more practice in before work, but my co-pilot and FE didn't show up.

Anyway, I did touch down , a few times on that approach, the last bounce just got me over the fence.

All four arms working to clear the area..... and away I went. I've booked circuit training this coming weekend.

Big danglers, all right - and so many!
The 777 main truck might take it for heft, but the Queen still takes it overall.
That's a fine model Marty, just look at the detailing eh?
Great shots, I hope you can make some calm time and grease Her in...

It always amazes me, on these massive Airliners, how the little Nose Wheel withstands the crushing impact on the runway when the aircraft finally comes to a standstill!
Some wonderful details on those main wheels and tyres!

...so different from my usual, daily Microlight/Ultralight/Flexwing/Trike Aircraft activities in my FSX!

...low and slow... :D ...!

Paul...UK... .... ....!
