JK, that's how I always picture the Condor.
I've been doing some reading about these, it seems they had a problem with the whole tail section breaking off, but other than that, a good looking aircraft.

Yes and the one that has been reconstructed from various bits, has a distinct wrinkle in the fuselage, right where one would expect!

Well I guess that's what you get when you turn an Airliner into a bomber...back then.

When you consider the extra weight on the forward section, the long gondola, upper turret plus the extra internal tankage,it's no wonder the tail section would break off.
It was still a very attractive aircraft whether in the bomber or transport role.
