First MSFS 2024 flight...
Posted: Wed Nov 20, 2024 1:45 pmOk, just watched a video from Seb and Jorg explaining and apologizing for the server mess. Apparently they turned the queue on when their cache got swamped, and the queue won't be part of the process when they sort things out.
Did my normal 'first flight' in any new sim, Hokitika to NZCH, in a 172. Still have to figure out the controls, but I was lucky enough to have my joystick already set up, so I just flew as best I could.
The trees showed as black boxes, and I hope to see a proper tree at some point. At the moment I'm back at the queue, hopefully not as long a wait this time as Europe and the US go off to bed. Obviously a lot of graphics missing, and the clouds don't look anywhere near as impressive as the alpha. I wouldn't judge the sim on these early issues!
