The built-in tablet can access Lido charts by default. Not as comprehensive as any paid subscription, but a boon for poor folk like me! Here I am at Taieri trying to pluck up the courage to fly in NZCH...

Actually, no, I've just been sitting there exploring the features while I work on NZTI in the SDK.

With all the negativity on Avsim, it's not surprising that the tablet has been ignored. There's a lot of new functionality ...

One thing I miss in my copy of MSFS2020 is the location of the Fuel Pumps!
Either on the default airfield Map, (zoomed in), or amongst the actual buildings.
I spend ages wandering around the airfield in my plane looking for them!
In previous versions of the Sim, the construction of the default Pump Building instantly made the Fuel Pumps
visible!
(The location of the toilets would also come in handy for us weak-bladdered Oldies!)... ...!
...liquid in...and liquid out!.... ...!
