Caught short at NZMF

Postby Adamski » Sat Nov 30, 2024 10:00 am

Got carried away, wandering around the airport and had to visit the boys' room. Arrrrgh ... toilet blocked [off]!!! Is there anywhere in NZ that *doesn't* have traffic cones?

Image

Aah well ... the bushes came in useful! Jumped into a spare T-6 (can't get any of the Harvard liveries to work, BTW) ...

MSFS 2024 zero gravity!

Just need to creep past the pushback guy then get up that ladder ...

Image

Ever so photogenic ...
Image

I think the lighting in 20204 is somehow better ... but can't quite put my finger on it ...
Image

Yours truly, posing ...

Surely a sign of FS addiction when your avatar resembles you in RL (or is it the other way around?)...

Adam, no images loading here. Postimage is throwing a DNS reso error when I try to look at my own account, so that is probly part of the same problem. :(
Will MSFS24 display a full moon?

Hey, with my state of health the first thing I check is the loos.... there is a portaloo at MF, by the way. I was too frightened to go inside, so it was a quick visit to the bushes for me as well.

Did you just 'borrow' that Hunter? Some nice self-portraits, by the way.

Haha too good. At least 2024 is giving us some entertainment with its oddities. Keep em coming.

Nope...Shields up or shields down, same 'DNS could not be found' error. I use Brave, which is a Chrome clone. Some websites ask me not to use an adblocker, telling me to update Chrome. Not had this from PostImage, ever.

I can see the first pics, not the second try, and I also notice that Mike's image in his sig is missing as well.

Probably a network/bandwidth problem. To test out, I've re-uploaded the same pics to my own site:

Yep see them now...hilarious...

downloading 2024 now as I speak.. wonder how it will go for me....went for the basic version in the end as it seems many of the deluxe planes are borked and I get some of them anyway. Keen on that Albatross though.

I opted for Deluxe, as I really wanted the C172 and C152. The 172 is fine, but the ADF on the 152 is inoperable (as with a fair few other light aircraft).

The main issue ATM is the lack of Marketplace functionality - as I think that's holding up a lot of addon developers. Still .. early days, eh?

That appears to be hosted by Postimages as well ...

... it's possible that the site is being flooded by millions of 2024 screenshots ...
