Evening flight around Lake Wānaka

It's a very new experience being able to get down low and not lose all immersion. However it definitely looks a bit autumny for spring.

I managed to keep he Cabri flying this time, although I still have a lot to learn about it. Managed to land more than once on this trip, certainly easier to land this on a dime than the H145 which has been my go-to copter for a while now.

Good to see the Wānaka tree in the scenery. Maybe this was put in with WU10? The airport looks horrible, I may have a look at NZA's Wānaka in the new year.

Looking good there Robin...I've loaded NZA Wanaka into MS2024, and it looks good apart from a number of hot air balloons parked at the airport.

I agree it is a bit aumtmny with a few autumny trees scattered around the place for some reason.

I haven't flown helicopters much over the years but I'm enjoying the H125 and R66 in 2024 ...although I do have all the assists on.

Very hard not to do a back to back.
Be interesting to see what NZA does in 24.

Looks pretty good from here.
Spent a lot of time down there with ex in-laws based almost on the lake front and out at Albert Town.
