Nice to see some other nations Herks...wonder if a Japanese Herk called into our shores? I've been on JASDF 767 at Ohakea and I know one of their C-2s has been ehre for a demo flight.

All great shots. The JASDF Herk looks great and the MAC Herk in the TO114 SEA cam looks great.
The Friendship is beautiful as well.

Excellent. I actually flew on BXF into Mt Cook on a famil early one morning.

Ended getting stuck there because they had to take off uphill and needed to reduce weight. I had to hitch a ride on the twin otter back down to Queenstown and then jumpseat back to Christchurch on the 748. Not a bad way to spend a morning.

SA227, thanks for looking ...I love it when pixels meet real life with a story.
That sounds like a perfect day.....Merry Christmas, and take care.
