Directly overhead of all that remains of Wigram, her former home. Thank you JK

Ah yesteryear... Marty you weren't tempted to go beat up The Runway, all the way up to New World? B-)

Thanks for looking gents.
Charl, every time I go near Wigram, which isn't often....I get really angry looking at all the seemingly self replicating houses, standing a meter apart on top of so much history.....but that's history now....but still pisses me off big time.
It would be great to have an old version of Wigram for MSFS....so much activity there in the past.

Marty, this may be of interest. I am sure I had one in my old Classic FS, but I found this when I went looking for it. Good start for a conversion, anyway.

Thanks for the link Mike....maybe someone can build on it. I know Ian Warren had hundreds of photos of the old base.

@JK...100% enjoying it , thanks again

Tis sad indeed Marty, I'm a lot younger than you but I still remember my first visit there when I was around 13 and the Andover NZ7621 was out on the tarmac, the runway was still there back then too,
Apparently they are going to land NZ7001 on the grass there for her very last time when she retires soon to the museum, cant confirm how true that is though

Thanks for looking Dash Cap...nice to see you here mate
I've heard similar talk about 01....there is enough space to get her in there with no load and minimal fuel.
But as Deane B has pointed out in the past, the area is so populated now, if anything went wrong it would be a big mess.
I live in hope...what a great sight that would be :)
