I'm using the beta in the hope that my issues will just disappear with a new update, but no luck so far.
Just in case I'm giving the impression that the sim us currently horrible, here's some things I like in the latest beta.
This is getting closer to looking like reality, and with the beta I get a bit better performance now, even though I can't use 4K or Ultra settings without getting the GPU memory warning. But on 1440p and High settings, it works smoothly. The last screenshot here has the performance showing, so that's 60FPS and 60% GPU usage, which is a big improvement. However the 60FPS is actually 30, plus frame generation, which works again after being broken in SU1.
Recently I bought Bijan's Seasons Enhanced for 2024, which I haven't really checked out fully, all I know is that it fixes the McKenzie country around Tekapo, where the default shows a huge amount of trees, where it should just be a few bits of scrub. I know that the beta includes some new biomes, and there are a few specifically for New Zealand. However still no pinus Radiata.

Oh how I wish your NZTI was available in the Marketplace

I must admit the visuals are improving (albeit slowly) ... but my main issues are to do with the brain-dead GUI or broken-ness with so many of the default aircraft. Not entirely sure what they've been doing *for over four years* now, because I don't really see much changed from 2020.

Hmm yes Im thinking of reverting back to 2020....my FPS has tanked in 2024 by the time I added what i had in 2020 ...I thought it had better FPS for a while but sonetings changed....very frustrating
