As I mentioned elsewhere, perfect for popping over to GBI

Home sweet Auckland - suddenly there's AI tubes everywhere

That squeaky white beach

Just made for the job, just gets on with it.
Very easy flyer, and it has all the avionics.
Bit noisy though.

Check your storm window isn't open, I found out I'd been flying for some time with it open. Closing it did reduce the noise level, just slightly :)

Haha quite right!
It was open, and closing it made a ... bit of a difference.
Always nice to have that modelled.

IRL it isn't the quietest of machines!

Sweet pics.
If you look up islandsimpilot on YouTube, he does of lot of flying in the Islander around the Caribbean Islands. An interesting guy to listen to. Lots of tips and settings advice too.

Hah, yeah I just did the same thing, didn't notice till I went and panned around outside

PS, not sure if I'm mucking up mixture settings or pitch maybe but did a wee flight yesterday and after landing one of the engines just cut out on me, wasn't out of fuel... any tips? struggling to locate a manual and the cockpit checklist popups don't seem to exist in the 2020 model?

MikeW
'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

From that link:
65kts, load it till the struts are compressed, noise cancelling headsets mandatory, don't hit the edges that's about it I think?

I was going to be kinder and say Dino, Page 11 of the BB manual (Which is in the download!)

I know this, and wonder if you might be tempted to do ZK-PIZ - for the hop from NZNE to GB!

Wait!... What? ... there's a manual ??!? ... sheesh I'm such a MSFS noob didn't think to look in the "Official\OneStore\" folder for the addon itself ... thanks

I did download this one, but FS.TO is a little difficult to navigate between FS20 and FS24.
I had thought the NEW download might be for '24 so downloaded the OLD one, which didn't show.
Went back and tried the NEW one which now does.
Certainly VERY OK, thanks!

... and here it is, doing what it should at NZNE.
While the Islander is the Flying Aircraft, the others are FCR trips replayed instead of the annoying AI we are stuck with.
It's all rather authentic.

As an aside, I thought the Caravan models were too large, but no!
It's actually bigger than a BN-2, nevermind it looks like a Skylane. :)
