I have “always” had a soft spot for unusual aircraft. I already had the “Avanti” in FSX, and it is an interesting machine. It is fast at 346 knots (638 km/h), the Piaggio Avanti P180 has a climb rate of 2,950 feet/min and a maximum certified altitude of 41,000 feet, a range of 2,795 km, and costs only a fraction of a jet with comparable equipment to operate. It costs around US$9 million. It has the Collins “Proline 21” avionics package, a more spacious cabin than a Cessna Citation X, and even a small bathroom. Its range is sufficient for flights within Europe.
