Great shots yet again.
It's a nice enough looking aircraft, but one that sadly doesn't do too much for me.

Having just purchased it, I feel the same ....the model is great...but it just doesn't float my boat.
I'm considering the F-22 now ,a nice model is available.

Stay with it... I also didn't much take to it initially, but it's worth getting into the systems and playing with the -C model.
The F-22 was the wrong aircraft choice, Northrop had them beaten on every count.
It reminds me of something an 8 year old might doodle when bored in class.

Might be boring as a model but pretty cool seeing the real thing...

Yes! I saw them at Avalon when they were first let out into the wild.
The pilots were blown away by the systems integration.
And the Helmet.
Looking at that picture, seems the RAAF has a different canopy coating?

About the F-35
The screenshots turned out well — they show the F-35 in all its majestic ugliness.
I just can’t warm up to this machine. It’s like someone tried to make a stealth fighter out of a flying brick and then decided to charge three nations for the privilege.
Yes, it’s modern, expensive, and full of classified wizardry — but graceful it is not. Even the designers must have winced a little when they saw it in daylight.
To me, it’s less “Lightning II” and more “Thundercloud of bureaucracy.”
And I’m clearly not alone in thinking it’s one of the most over-engineered mistakes ever to take to the sky.
