:o SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!! B-) B-)

WOO! I was wondering how long it would be until someone cottoned onto this idea. Fanbleedintastic, Paul! What's next on the agenda? Pfalz and D.VII formation? Hey, has anyone tried doing Triplane formations?

Hehehe....who's game to fly Dave Phillips' Tiger routine? Go the Falling Leaf! :ph43r:

Keep 'em coming dude! You know, this is a fine opportunity for others with CF-relevant aircraft to post shots recreating the show this year. Heck, if it wasn't for my lack of a copy of FS and a joystick, I'd be doing some right now!

Cheers,
Zac :plane:

No not really - I saw your shot on your web site and I based it on that :) . - different angle and/or runway though. Never been to Classic Fighters so not sure how the crowd line is laid out and which runways they use.

You seem to have a good line. Here's a quote from a handy CAA publication:
"The most commonly used Runways are 25 and 30 due
to the prevailing northwesterly and westerly winds."
However I understand that the localised easterly is quite common at Omaka, not so much at Woodbourne.
I think they must close off 01/19 during the show.
Here's a link to the CAA 'Vector' publication. This is very handy to get acquainted with the area.

The mighty Corsair (I have a NZ scheme but this one is close to the current scheme on the real one - although it should be in a RNZAF scheme)
