This month, Carenado are sponsoring our screenshot competition. This means that the person who wins with the best screenshot this month will receive any Carenado payware product they want which can be viewed at www.carenado.com ... Now that's an incentive for you all to enter!

Here is our 15th monthly Screenshot Competition, which is free to enter for all the members of NZFF*

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-Plane, etc), and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The image size must be as close as possible to 984 pixels wide- read the uploading screenshot guide to find out how to re-size your shot. Please keep a high res version saved on your computer as the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert it into a site banner!

3) Images can be submitted from July 1st to July 31st 2007, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one (by pressing the edit button, to the top right of your post. Please don't make new posts saying you have edited your original post as this makes the thread cluttered).

4) On July 31st, a poll will open and run for a few days to decide who has the best image, then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the Carenado prize!

5) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

6) This month's theme is 'Grounded' meaning your screenshot must show an aircraft sitting on the ground.- an opportunity to show off some addon airport scenery perhaps.

* As we are offering payware prizes, each member who enters must have at least a 2 month membership (signed up before the end of April) at NZFF before they can enter.

** We have removed the ban on conversation- it killed the fun in last months thread!

Screenshot =good, scenery = bad.
Hopefully I'll at least get a beta Tauranga FSX update to you before the end of the month, so the black bits don't show up <_<
On the other hand the shot does show why I'm learning to love FSX -- the lighting is amazingly real.

It's been a while, what with all that beta testing, but I am still alive.

Here's a place holder - I hope I get the skin finished by close ;) This month's title "Any port in a storm". After all, when you're flying a plane whíle the paint's still wet, you need shelter fast, and mother hen here, kindly offered a sheltering wing... :D

Sorry folks - I am withdrawing my entry. That Tiger Moth repaint is just too painful to work with. Nice plane, but cr@p texturing and organisation of files

Sorry it's not 984x## but with such FANTASTIC shots, I don't think I'll need to worry about being on the podium

Anyway, just love entering anyway..

My shot is NZ090 getting ready to depart for Auckland on it's domestic repositioning flight. Freeware Meljet B772, and Ian Warren's NZCH.

Congrats guys on getting the new forum up and running, looks great (even if I read more than I post)
Cheers
