I have at least 10 finished skins on my drives that need uploading. OK then, I will upload these to Avsim during the course of the day... OK, sorry that there aren't any NZ ones this time around, but I have a few up my sleeves - somewhere.

Love the camo scheme in the 6th shot down- what aircraft is that and who does it belong to?

Mmm wondered where you'd been hiding, some radical paint jobs there.
Quite like the look of that little Kamov, how's it handle?

Nice repaints Chris - are the SF260 repaints FSX only?

Trolly it is a Piper Navajo (model by FSD) - Finish Air Force - the Finish Air Force eqiuvalent to the RNZAF King Airs

Thanks folks. Piper Navajo / Finnish Airforce indeed.

The one thing I don't like about the FSD Navajo is that the makers put far too much reflectivity onto the mdl itself. Us painters can't do anything about that and the skins look too shiny.

The SF260 paints might work in FS9 - EXCEPT...

a. They're dds files - you might need to convert to DXT3 using the DXTbmp tool. Download it here - I don't recall if FS9 displays dds files - someone care to check? I have offloaded Fs9 6 months ago now.

b. Because RAS have added the left seat / right seat option, the modle now needs two external view textures for the instrument panel. So where there was only one external panel in the FS9 skins, RAS have now placed two half-sized panel views on the FSX textures. All the other skin bits will work. I s'pose I could cut 'n paste the dashboards over and post a single sheet as an FS9

Quite nicely thanks. Being a contrarotating pair, there's no torque reaction about the y axis and no tail rotor couple about the x axis, so she does, of course, fly easier than other choppers. Too much Russian in the cockpit though cool.gif but at least there's mouse-over hints and it is - after all - a flying machine, so all the things you need are there...
