I dug this old girl out of the back of the hangar and decided to get my feet a little wet on my way to Taupo!

Sure made one heck of a change from the modern land-based aircraft I usually fly!!

Using the township of Turangi as our waypoint we turn to make our approach

We probably woke up most of Turangi and Taupo on our way down but I'm sure they would not have been too upset! I mean it's not everyday you get the opportunity to see a Solent flying boat!!

If I'm not mistaken it's the freeware one (sol_v20.zip at Flightsim)
