I have used a AI-Modul, found at avsim.com and "Wanaka" from Godzone...

These are some screens from the arrival of the first warbirds.

Going Around Curtiss P-40E Warhawk. The Markings of this aircraft are 49. FG USAAF, Aleuten, 1942.

The Pilot of this Spitfire is going around for a second atempt...

The old Lady ... Douglas DC-3. I have heared, that this aircraft is used today for touristic flights at the South Island...

Waiting for the show tomorrow.

Those Duxford AI models are great, aren't they?
This was my first NZ AI package, I've always meant to update the Dakota with the latest Warbirds one.
How are the frame rates on your system, there were some complaints initially but suspect computers have improved in the meantime.

Charl, I like Your work. On my AMD 3,8 with 2 GB RAM I have no difficulties. It works fine. I want to fly with he Realair Spitfire in the formation of Your AI-aircraft next time to make some more spectacular shots. What I also must do is to add some of the new aircraft of the RNZAF. I have not found the correct textures for the C-130 and the P-3. Can you help?

Yes use the ones in the RNZAF AI pack 1.
Search AVSIM on "Charl" and you'll see it.

I have much respect for the man and woman that restore such old aircraft like this. I know, that in Wanaka very old russian fighters like the Polikarpov I-16 and the Polikarpow I-153 "Tschaika" are restored. These are beautiful aircraft but in my eyes dangerous to fly. Tribute for for that restaurations to flying condition.
Well we must conserve such aircraft. They are part of our history.

Wonderful shoots from the Original! I have them only as 1:72 in my inventory... thumbup1.gif

Yes, these are the two, the I-153 and the I-16 fighters... and I see it with great interest. Look at the clean lines of the "Tschaika". She was one of the fastest Biplanes ever build. But it was to late... 1939 she, the Gloster Gladiator and the Fiat C.R. 42 are the last operational fighters as biplanes... and 1944 the first two Jet-Fighters came out, the Messerschmitt Me 262A and the Gloster Meteor F. Mk. I and Mk. III... 5 Years later.

Yesterday I have lost my complete installation of the FS 2004... around 40GB. Think, it takes some time for the next projects.

I've just downloaded your Warbirds over Wanaka.
Your readme refers to
"Duxford Warbird AI http://www.projets.fsfrance.com/Duxford ... AI_en.html "
I can't seem to access this web site. Can you provide a link?

It's a piracy story, and I hope a Heads-up to people who think
- it is OK to pirate other people's work
- it is OK to treat the developers as some sort of servant
It's tragic, hope they sort something out.
Here's a Kwik translation

Closure of the site and the forum

Bonjour a tous, Hi all,
The adventure FsFrance stops today after almost 6 years of service. This carefully considered decision has been taken following the recent events. Piracy of our creations was the drop that made the cup overflow. But other signs before runners had already demonstrated, such as reduced motivation of the team or the general fed up of its leading members before disrespectful behavior increasingly frequent.

FsFrance has become a sort of factory where we impose (or blames) almost do this or that. Many people think we are available to the FS community and there was a request for. Ce n'est pas nouveau mais là on en a marre. This is not new but that it was enough.

Fortunately, not everyone is like that. I know many people support us and that they are the most penalized in this story.
To these people I would say that FsFrance will most likely return but in a lighter, in the manner of any 1st version of the site (for those who were there) that I had created a few years ago. This site will resume the theme for which I created at the base FsFrance: the pleasure above all!

Thanks go to all those who helped us and a huge thanks to the people who contributed to FsFrance, especially the team ... This gang of kids very dear to me.

A bientot,
Yannick - FsFrance Team Yannick - FsFrance Team
