Hi all!

The following shots were taken at Omaka on one of the show practice days. The aircraft are, of course, the Omaka Mustang Company's ZK-PLI and the specially imported newbuild Me-262A-1 N262TT.

Simulating an attack on an Allied base in Germany late in the war, the 262 took off from Woodbourne and streaked in, seemingly from nowhere. Due to his speed he had the advantage most of the time, although the Mustang inflicted enough damage that the jet had no option but to run for home.

After the show it was announced that the 262 wouldn't be leaving the country as she had been purchased by a ten-member Woodbourne syndicate. She was reregistered ZK-MJT last week, and is now flying happily with her new owners.

Nice Zac. It actually looks like an airshow type display.
