Today I set myself up a flight from Auckland to Port Vila, a real world route flown by Air Vanuatu's 737-300. For the journey, I loaded up the Vistaliners model recently repainted by our own Dan Mitchell in the airline colours. However, for some reason the auto-throttle stuffed up en-route and the aircraft couldn't even make it to a cruise altitude of FL300 without stalling, so I made an emergency landing at Norfolk Island which has a runway long enough for 737's anyway.

Here are 16 shots of my short flight, featuring my latest payware addon: Zinertek's Flight Environment which I realised I desperately needed after my recent long haul flight over the pacific with nothing but default textures.

And I'd built myself a little addon scenery at Port Vila airport in preperation for my arrival too- what a waste of an afternoon! dry.gif

Nice pics Trolly thumbup1.gif

I had the same problem flying this aircraft the other day - it stalled as I was passing about FL290 I think.

There's already a relatively good scenery available for NVVV here in case you didn't know winkyy.gif

I too have had the same issue, but recovered by droping the VSI to about 1100

Could this be fixed by say replacing the .air file in the Vistaliners folder with the default 737-400 one? Or even copying a certain section from the default aircraft.cfg into the Vista one?

I dont know, Erik really cocked up the FDE as they did use the default 737 config and airfile then changed a bit of stuff. The weights etc are so far out of whack they had to move the rear wheel contact points about 3 fett behind the modelled rear wheels.

I would actually sugest the airfile IS the unchanged default 737 air file.

I use the wilco FDE with this A/C

Where the authrottle problem is, would be in the .cfg under the [autopilot] section
