On winning a copy FSXacceleration with a screen-shot compo at http://www.flightsim.co.nz/ I'm sure some of you might enjoy a looksie smile.gif

Idea to show the panel detail , of course these are modified a todays standards , cockpit ergo, radios and nav and small airframe changes

the few airframe changes can be seen - wingtips and aerials

The Sound is 'PACKARD MERLIN' buzz your fav control tower ohmy.gif so thats what a XP-51 biggrin.gif sounds like ...... wow to COOL

Just like Grahame Bethel's TAF Muzzie biggrin.gif
more detail

showing U/C detail ... reflection .. Thought , Whats all this about so called "SHELF SHADOW COCKPITS"

Yeah would look good in a NZ warbird paint /skin , IN SEQUENCE to View shadow , general movement and affects

A lot more to explore cool.gif

Looks like it has a great VC- but all FSX craft have that winkyy.gif

The exterior doesn't look like payware to me, I reckon Warrick Carter's model looks more glamorous.

Are you using Vista/DX10 Ian? VC self shadowing was only implemented for that....

The quality of the exterior is something that doesnt really come through well in static screen shots...but it looks really really nice in full motion...each little panel reacts differently..

Its nice, I like!

Wow looks nice Ian - did you know that the Acceleration Mustang was made by the guys at Sibwings (the same people that made the nice Saab Safair) and Captain Sim made the F-18?

I hate it when that happens- its a pity you can't transfer the atmosphere of flight from the sim into a single image sad.gif

That puts a new spin on things- I thought it was just bog standard MS default aircraft, like the stock stuff in fs2004. I didn't know they had started hiring other companies to create their aircraft!

Think the F18's VC was subbed out - someone said it's the same one used in CapSim F117

No

In Captiansim's new pack, it uses the F-18 cockpit in an F-117
