However, today I was in the mood for a fairly long flight, so I set myself up with a Virgin Atlantic route flying from London Gatwick (EGKK) to Dubai International Airport (OMDB), my third amazing scenery addon from FlyTampa.
My aircraft of choice was the Project Opensky Airbus A340-300, which in my eyes, is the best looking and proportioned wide body airliner flying today. Cruising at .82 mach up at FL330, the flight took me just under 6 hours- real time of course. I passed the time monitoring the radio and autopilot systems, as well as reading through Richard Hammond’s recently released autobiography, ‘On the Edge’. I also captured the following 15 pictures:
