Sometimes harbours and estuaries are more than just ocean stopping at land... A short flight from Bembridge to Bournemouth with the new Horizon water mask demo.

That would be by VirtualVFR/Getmapping, available for FS2004 also, minus the fancey water. I've had it installed for a while as it covers a huge area of England, however it doesn't have any autogen which is quite a let down.

BTW- I've been to Bembridge on the Isle of Wigit on holiday many times, nice little area that is ;) Got any screenies of the special 3D Needles that come with the FSX version?

The scenery is Horizon's GenX (1.2m photo), for FSX (naturally). I do have autogen for the area, but it hasn't been reinstalled yet after my PC rebuild (that goes for the Needles at the other end of the island too, sorry Trolly).

The disused airfield in pic 3 is Thorney Island http://daveg4otu.tripod.com/airfields/tis.html , and in pic 5, Beaulieu http://daveg4otu.tripod.com/airfields/bea.html

Bembridge is one of my favourite £100 Hamburger destinations (and the first place I flew to after getting my PPL) - the 'Crab & Lobster', right next to the coastguard lookout, 5 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes on foot from the airfield.
