Flying the 1900C across the top of Alaska for ACE, My first run in with the northern lights,
Non NZ and just one shot but I think it looks pretty cool

Man, these things are so elusive. I've tried so many times to run into one, replicating conditions other users have experienced the Northern/Southern Lights in and it never works. I saw Australis years ago in FS2002 heading down to Scott Base, but never since.
I envy you Q300. Did it last long?

Yea it was realy ausome, shame the sun was rising though.
It lasted a good 6-7 minutes, I almost jumped outa my seat when I saw it I had only just broken through the fog and clouds and im greated by this ausome display ^_^

I've always wondered if the Aurora Australis were included in MSFS, but I've been unable to recreate them in with FS9. I've seen the Northern Lights many times, so therefore expect to see the southern ones over Invercargill / Antarctica way. Has anyone else managed to do so? I'd be really interested to see screenshots!
