Having arrived at my holiday destination of St Maarten (see my previous thread), I decided to wander down to the beach for a bit of plane spotting:

Before you go commenting that my screenshots are rubbish- I've tried to recreate what an amateur sunbather would have caught on his digital camera after opening his eyes, realising there was an incoming aircraft, and ran across the sand at the last minute to get the plane in the frame... enjoy! :D

Andrew - what AI are you running? - I haven't seen any Dorniers, Dash-8s or Fokkers at "my" St Maarten. Im running PAI.

I've recently uninstalled my old Ultimate Traffic AI which I've had since 2004, and have installed a mixture of some old Evolve AI, Project AI and a little 'World of AI' aircraft and flightplans. I've also updated my St Maarten AFCAD to the 'af2tncm-flytampa.zip' one on AVSIM to get everything parked in the right place.

Andrew, what did you think of Ultimate traffic? Heard NZ isn't so good, but I suppose you could always delete UT flightplans to NZ and just use VOZ, right?

Very outdated, old low quality and low performance AI models (steal lots of framerates)- just about every freeware package out there is far far better. I can't remember what the NZ scene was like as I've had various replacements installed for as long as I can remember- VOZ AI is a must have, along with the GNZLAP.

Ok, thanks for the heads-up ;)
