WOW. I particularly love the Heli low on the water...

I recognise Nelson having done the flight from Wellington to Nelson last night. I'd never done that flight before, and it's spectacular in FSX

Great shots, good to see you've got past the WATER and BLOOM stage that affects everyone for a while in FSX

Thanks guys i should have listened to the hardcore FSXers in the beginning  since moving on i can really see the things that make all the difference in the FS world , and sadly its only in X now
so FSX it is .. ;)

Another satisfied convert !! - I've never worked out why there has been so much resistance to moving forward with this release, compared to all the other FS versions.

Anyways - great screenshots Creator

Thank guys i think it has been just computer hardware issues ,but in saying that i dont have a high end computer at all ,my conversion was down to a topic i read that outlined the most important thing to me ,if its going to work at all its going to need a movement of designers etc ..to make it what it is a piece of ART ..
I think im a little responsible for some of the movement of this in NZ ie the hold back , im not a big part but i do supply alot of content and opinion to the topic through NZFF

im changed for good , i dont see anymore future in fs9 apart from reliving the past ,opinion..
Yes fs9 is ok and it has done its part in the fs world but it is truly time to move on for me ,i just dont get any enjoyment anymore out of fs9 ,i can now model a little more the way i like and have pretty good flps now SP2 is released

i really do see your guys point now ,and if we want to make a go of it all ,we have to band together

im planning only releasing fsx scenerys from now on ,but im happy with others placing the fs9 versions for those who cant afford to move on yet or just dont want to , i do advise you do as there is alot coming from myself and others who are now thinking of the future a bit more .. this is all a change for the better
if you have a copy and dont run it anymore plz just try SP2 and see the difference,it a hell of alot better since the days i use to complain

oh and ps .. just about all my addons are fsx compat,if they arent im fixing them to work just like they did but better

Nice aircrafts, some looking better, abit more natural than others.
Most screenshots of FS aircraft look disappointingly - like they come out of a comic book.

yeah im not sure how the installer i made did this ,or even if it did do it with V2 ,it really does make all the difference with your AGN files over robins Godzone Hamilton photoreal , i would love to see a update to this one day for X
or i mite have to learn how to do that myself , ive heard it was easier with X than when i was trying to learn it in fs9 .
it is proberly the one of only thing i need to learn to help with the airports i build , its always the one thing that makes a airport /citys for most flight simmers

Can't get the photoreal to show up yet but the buildings are all there

Robins Godzone hamilton was never included because of copyright, Hamilton buildings are to fit in with it and this scenery does look its best with it installed ,as does any scenery with photoreal mapping .
i have left a lot of hints around for Robin to update his old Godzone Hamilton one day as he has done with others ,but he has become very busy with other projects from my understanding,
so it a waiting game from here on in unless someone else does it ..
glad the buildings showed up for you  ,and i am thinking about rebuilding the whole city again in better detail for FSX anyway so i can fix things that have began to bug me over time..

Yes I have Robins old photoreal and it looks great with your Hamilton buildings in FS 2004, just doesnt show up in FSX for me. As I recall it looked like it was made using a slightly lower-res image than the other old Godzone scenery-maybe not sharp enough to be worth redoing for FSX? Your CBD objects look fine for me in FSX though. Raglan 2007 seems to work well in the current sim too.

I finally caved last week and got FSX- some RealNZ Wellington X screenshots were the final nudge-and I am not disappointed
My new computer is OK but not bleeding edge and FSX runs smooth as a babys butt. It took a little patience finding the right driver, musta tried half a dozen(NVidia seem to have dropped the ball a bit with the 8800 GT card-bad jaggies at first) but it was worth it. NZ looks nice and green once the Christian Stock landclass is installed. The new planes are great, and the topo data set for NZ is a huge improvement.
That start up music has got to go and I don't care for the water effect too much, but theres a lot to like, especially flying around everyones favorite 2 sceneries -gawd am I impressed
