Camel at Omaka

After recently downloading the VVFNZ Pfalz, I decided I would also need to get a British counterpart aircraft so I could play mock dockfights with the pair in my virtual skies. So, I searched 'Camel' here on the forums and found Charl's post linking me to camel04.zip from flightsim.com and got busy installing. I test flew the two separately, first the German machine, and then the British, and was so besotted by the latter's visual model, that after landing, I took off again and went for a good 30 minute cruise around the Marlborough countryside.

Here are some screenies I took en route, you might want to load this video while you view this topic and listen to it as a soundtrack in the background.

































Weather of course is provided by Active Sky, makes things much more fun. The camel also has a brilliant VC for a 2005 addon, could do with some an authentic sound pack though...

Sweet thanks man! That soundpack really does add heaps more realisum, especially when you cut the magnetos then flick them back on to get those raspy bursts you can hear in the linked video in my top post! All I need now is a bottle of canola oil open in front of my moniter and I'm there
