Such a beautiful day in Auckland, What to do with that extra hour, now that Daylight Saving is over?
Maybe squeeze in a little exotic sightseeing.
I enjoy the Capsim 757 even more, now that I've clicked just about everywhere you can click.
Did you know the pilot's seat can be raised, and moved fore & aft in the VC? :)
Once more to Budapest then, on a charter flight with Omni.
It is exactly due East of starting point Zurich. (Pics of that maybe later, they are all AES-equipped)
I had 15-minute updates on RW weather, and sure enough from a clear start, an hour later it was minimums into LHBP

I've sorted out the AI in the sim, and that's what caught my eye this visit:

FS9 is to FSX as HDD is to Flash memory: as soon as they up the solid-state ante, the hard drive guys just make it better yet.
So now we are able to run essentially flyable-standard planes as AI in FS9. Look at the German above, and all the exotic Eastern stuff below:

As mentioned, AES-equipped so lots of interest after engine shutdown.
AES lets you choose a gate whence the follow-me car takes you...and the buses stand about as long as it takes to disembark however many pax.
Then they close their doors before driving off

And on the topic of AI, blow me down, if you invested the 15 bucks you'll find an HTAI Cessna or 2 at Budapest as well!

There, just behind the tailfin...

It looks great, although you may need to configure that AC, the ramps are on the doors, not the doorways.

Ah no, actually not.
Look again, the mouth of the airstair spans the opening as well as the open door. ;)

Thanks KBG, I start with World of AI (AVSIM) downloads, whatever they don't have, I get from the newest possible Project AI packages, from their website.
Every now and then, someone pops up with individual AI models that are too good to pass up, and they get substituted in.
A case in point is the latest remake of the AIA B757 - Flaps slats spoilers thrust reverse compressing struts etc - boy it's a shame to leave them out in the wild, they deserve to be hangered and looked at!

Awesome shots Charl...I have that Budapest scenery too. It was a Xmas present. I did a flight to LHBP only recently myself. And as for AES...best thing since sliced bread! :D

So this is FSX Charl? I'd nearly kill a man to play FS if it looked like that all the time.
