I have been mucking around lately finding out what this fletcher can do. So I decided to have a short flight at dusk from woodbourne over the strait to welly
enjoy

Interesting sunset shots - is it FS2004? I think some cranking up of the antiliasing is required if your PC can handle it.

And maybe lose the lens flare (unless your particularly fond of it!) might help with a struggling system.
