After a bit of a stay in Kaikoura I decided to move on to Christchurch.

Taking off and putting the gear away.

Climbing away from NZKI...

Today the weather is just beautiful....a perfect day for flying.

And I make the most of it by taking in this gorgeous countryside.

Almost all too quickly we approach the outskirts of Christchurch.

We pass Christchurch international on our descent...will circle to land soon

On final as an ANZ Link ATR 72-500 waits patiently for us to land

Parked and shut down in the GA area at Canterbury Aviation....there is a good strong coffee waiting for me in that building...or so I've been told anyway :P

Cheers
Florian

Good shots. That's a sleek looking plane isn't it.

Nice shots of EKL. Done a few hundred hours in that machine.
If somebody wants to update the panel it hasn't had the Cessna avionics fit for some years

Good to see your shots - I haven't had the photoreal installed for ages, can't think why.
Which combination of sceneries are you running there Florian?

Your South Island scenery looks exceptional!

Nice to see a good clear view of the Kaikoura coast too, when I flew down there the other week in RL it was all cloudy:

Cheers guys,

Charl in these shots I'm using Robin's Kaikoura, Christians Topo & 20m mesh and the Christchuch/Canterbury photoreal. The NZCH airport comes with the photoreal scenery

Cheers
