Thought I would post some screenies of the Paul Rebuffat Spitfire Mk VIII in the colours of the Temora Aviation museum's VH-HET. The model is actually designed for CFS2 but works fine in FS2004 provided a new panel is installed (only thing is that the VC has no gauges).

The RG-V "Grey Nurse" markings were carried by Aussie air ace Bobby Gibbes.

Considering the repaint and model are quite a few years old now (actually made before FS9 was released I believe :o ) it comes up like a shiny penny in the sim!

Also those with an eagle eye will notice that my mesh setting is again on 19  :ph43r: :P ....doing some long-haul around Europe at the moment and wasn't going to change it just for this quick test flight

Cheers
Florian

Love the teeth on the nose- I remember seeing some RAF Harriers with similar vinyl's on them when I was really young (like 3 or 4 years old), and accompanied with the tremendous noise they made on take off, they scared the cr@p out of me!

Superb! Tell ya what, Paul Rebuffat's models are a real sweet find. If you want a decent-looking late-Merlin Spit for free then go for these. Plus, if you get the XVI, you can get paints for TB863/ZK-XVI..... ;)

Nice shots! A hearty well done! And good to see an Aussie warbird on here, too.
