After a long few weeks not being able to play flight sim, I was very happy to feel the turbulence under my wings once again as I made a very satisfying evening flight, from Tekapo to Mount Cook, to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

(9 pics to follow, totalling 930kb)

Aircraft: Carenado Piper Cherokee 180F
Scenery: Godzone Tekapo Photoreal, Redbaron 20m mesh and topo, Peter Lohr's Mount Cook airport, VOZ waterclass
Weather: default, but still stunning

Anyone want to guess how many FPS I was getting there?

After sympathizing with you for as many weeks it would be interesting to know how you got 'back on track'.
What graphics card have you got now and how many mb is it?
As to how many FPS without this info it's hard to say. I have that Carenado Cherokee myself so I know it is not demanding on FPS (It's a great wee plane and very realistic, great flight model and recieved great reviews)
FPS-how about 6?

Hi Codge,
I removed the 'dud' card and put in an old FX5600 128mb card, which seemed to get rid of the blurrys, but decreased my FPS from an original 20-25ish in that area, in those conditions, to 15FPS.

Great shots - where did the "ZK" paint scheme come from?

Nice shots and as others have said it's nice to see a registration that fits the surroundings. ;)

Glad you like my pictures people,

As for the ZK Rego, I do that with all the Carenado aircraft I own. I just open up the default paintjob, wipe of the N number and but a quick ZK over the top, in this case it is -KEE for CheroKEE. It only takes about 5 minutes ;)
