Inverted pass - not sure if this is the right machine for this sort of manouvre - any suggestions on a good FS aerobatic glider?

Missed runway - landed on taxiway

Sweet shots Naki

Looks like a Twin Astir or an ASK-21 to me... will do most basic aeros nicely :)

If you're looking for something with a bit more punch, try searching for a Puchacz or a Salto... the Puchacz will actually perform ok for cross-country soaring as well as being stressed for +10 -10.
If you're ever at the Sport AVEX at Tauranga airport or have been to the earlier ones when they were held at Waharoa, you probably would have seen Adrian Cable or Brian Chesterman wringing the snot out of GPZ or GEO. Nothing like a silent snap roll to make you feel alive :D

Was going to ask the same thing- I've found screen capturing gliders is really hard to do well, with the tiny fuselages in spot view, it is difficult to create a focus in each image over large scenery areas visable below, however you seemed to have got it spot on. Well done!

Perhaps try a single seat performance glider. I don't really fly gliders on FS so can't make any recomendations ;)

Cheers

Ok I fess up - Emma field (remember this is FS2002 tech here) has its own glider winch, tow plane, AI gliders being unpacked and assembled and towed up, other AI aircaft, thermals etc. The AI aircraft maybe a little primitive but wow everything is rather amazing at this little airfield especially if you are into STOL aircraft (big trees at the end of the field) and gliders. The second shot is of the tow plane you can hook up to - cant see a cable unfortunatlely - I have had this scenery for years but never being able to run it properly until I upgraded the PC.

Alfashark its a ASK-21 - I must browse through that link you posted a get me a Puchacz or a Salto (if they have one).

Adrian Cable - I need a new dentist - maybe I should go and see him and talk gliding! Yea Ive seen him at Sportavex - great displays. Heres some amazing glider aerobatics which inspired these shots.

Those people that do inverted flat spins do tend to come from eastern Europe.
They fly Sukhoi's inverted under low bridges over the Danube too.

My introduction to gliding was a cheapie flight at Drury.
At some point I asked whether the glider was aerobatic.
The driver obviously thought this was a challenge and pushed over a -2g.
All the grass on the cockpit floor flew up and stuck to the canopy.
When he had a bit of airspeed, he flung it into a Chandelle.
All the grass previously on the canopy fell on my head and into my eyes.
Look at the pictures above and you will see the pilot wears a funny little floppy hat.
There is a good reason for this.
