Strikemaster Sunset

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Postby FlyingKiwi » Mon Jun 23, 2008 11:36 am

Hi all, seems like it's a rare occasion when I post any screenshots here, but I thought these would hopefully be of interest. Enjoy!

Airborne from Waiouru, using yesterday's real weather which meant 30kt winds to contend with.

This is a learning experience for me - first time flying this aircraft.

Love the lighting effects that FS produces sometimes.

As the sunlight strikes the cockpit, it almost looks as if Ruapehu is erupting.

Mmmmm, terrain-mesh-a-rific...

About to descend into the valleys.

Moderately high speed pass over Lake Moawhango.

Approach back to Waiouru runway 31.

Little bit of crosswind from the right.

...and there you have it, back on the ground without breaking anything. Comments welcome!

Beautiful, I suspect that is ActiveSky fog. Realistic, and has a good atmosphere. Thanks! clapping.gif

Nicccceeee.. i really should get around to downloading this model ,was waiting for the CT4 aswell so i had them both for a movie ,love the sunsets and tarmac water texture reflections, really nice work capturing that ..
How do find the gauges in that VC or is your 3d gauges turn down for thoses shots ? was just wondering as they look abit like the kaman VCs low textured gauges ,i know the CT4 doesnt have these probs ..
once again thanks for posting them up here ,they and yourself have done a nice job showing off that model ... winkyy.gif

Cheers guys. I have quite a few of my graphics options turned down quite a bit, so that probably explains why the gauges in the VC look a bit blurry.
