Two weeks ago I handed over some of the green folding stuff and came home with FSX and Acceleration...
After the initial install, I began the long process of tweaking the graphics to suit - aided by posts both here, and from other sites smile.gif
Finally, last Sunday I got everything running to an acceptable level (to my eyes anyway) so time to fly... more digging around in both the wallet and the HDD to find something I could truly relax with wub.gif

Later I ported the WoP P-47 family over and spent an hour hedgehopping through some Austrian valleys, but more on that some other time.

mm nice - what BF-109 model? Are you still running FS9 as well or have you ditched it? Keen to see the P-47 shots if you have them.

Thats the Wings of Power II 109... they keep perfecting the original model from the WWII Fighters pack and it's now totally immersive in FSX.
Flap Keyboard shortcuts arent modelled, so its a case of having to mouse-wheel on all 43 degrees of flap thumbup1.gif

Still got FS9 and I intend to keep it that way smile.gif

I wouldnt say no to a Buchon, if it was as well modelled as these E3/4's...

There is a freeware one out there, but the visual model is utter arse, and its flight dynamics are miles off dry.gif

I've got the WoP E3/4's, the early SkyUnlimited F4 and the Flight Replica E/F/G and K series

90% of the time I'll be tooling around in the WoP E, simply because its just so responsive to the controls and doesnt mind getting down and dirty through some alpine valleys winkyy.gif
The F.R G and K series are better used for covering a bit of ground at a much faster pace, but can be a bit of a dog when wrapping them up tight in a confined space...

Wow your a serios fan of them laugh.gif (not that that's a bad thing).
I can't say I'm a big fan of the K model bit overweight and not as well harmonised. smile.gif

Thats for sure! Although I have to confess to being a fan of most German aircraft from say, 1930 - 1945.
Their engineering and aerodynamic concepts were miles ahead of their British and US counterparts (think Direct Fuel Injection, used on the DB601 engines dating back to 1939... Fast forward to 2005 and people started ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the Volkswagen/Audi Direct Injection engines released to the public...)

A few more screenshots... the first few are of the WoP FW190 A4 in a winter camo scheme, then the ultimate incarnation of the FW family, the WoP Ta152H cruising it way through FL260 over the Hauraki Gulf.
The plan was for a cruise down the coast from Pauanui to Tauranga at FL480, but we the power died for a few seconds here and so did the computer angry.gif
