she was a great machine,..used to #### off the skyhawk pilots on a few occasions beating them to a destination !. wonder what the number 23 was for on the no.1 engine ?...reg was nz7271..h290master wrote:QUOTE (h290master @ Sep 10 2008, 11:05 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>fs9 or FSX?
It works best in FS2004 but works fine in FSX but there is still no good 727 compatible panel (grump,grumble)..there is a generic FSX 3 engine jet panel on avsim and flightsim.com which is usable though...

23 was the entrant race number , I think it was second equal with an Air New Zealand Freight DC-8 .

Nice looking plane. Very sleek almost like an oversized jet fighter. Yes,I prefer the old scheme as well. Good job on the paint work.

I don't think you need permission to upload it. It just has to be the textures by themselves and contain the original readme file that came with the vistaliners aircraft.
As for a panel, Ken Mitchell did a good 727 panel a couple of years ago for FS9. It should be found on Avsim or Flightsim even though he didn't upload to those sites himself.

Geez was that 87? I was in the Air Training Corp located at Wigram when that happened. We got to do security and protect the planes. Got close to the F-111 I think from Aussie, but was jealous I didn't get the time to do the walkthrough on the 747.
Wow, that was a loooooooong time ago.
