Found another great freeware Robin - this time a DR221 which was is a very early Robin derived from the Jodel D-11 - the DR221 evloved into the DR400 which is alo pictured here - note the same wing which is the trademark of all Jodels and wooden Robins - the DR221 and DR400 are both of wooden construction - strong and light - just watch the rot though and the aircraft need hangering.
The Dr221 model is very good - up there with the great freeware Cessna 150 - I suspect it is the same team behind this one (what is it with the French and great freeware models) - had trouble finding this one after seeing it in Flugsimulations recommended downloads section. Eventually found it by Googling (what would we do without Gooogle!) DR221.zip and it directed me to a french flight sim site - its not on Avsim - couldnt find it on Avsim other than repaints.
Tried some formation flying but it didn't turn out how I wanted it - hardest formation flying I have done - had more success with WW2 fighters! Probably didnt help that I had crash detection on and flying in RW weather.
